Dear Marketing and Ad Agencies,
Please stop using, what you think are cutesy combined buzzwords, such as "Daycation, and Shopportunity. I don't need a Daycation or a shopportunity I need a vacation day and an opportunity to shop.
These words are not cute, they are just as annoying as the word Webinar. Please Stop!

As annoying as it is, marketers will use whatever they can to stand out from the cacophonous fray. Yes, they do things that annoy me, too-- like use commas incorrectly when it should be a dash, maybe a semicolon, or a good old fashioned period.
Oops. Well, not quite the same thing. But they've used oddly made-up words and misspellings for a while now, I think.
