Well a lot of people had to know because when you win the lottery you go to that giant check ceremony. Its kinda hard to hide winning 80 mil. You would have to change your name and move away. Even then, people still kiss your ass if they see you're rich. Thats sorta similar to being famous. Also I hate those people that win 100 mil and live in a average home and drive an average car. Give the money away if you arent going to enjoy the hell out of it. Have you ever watched those shows on cable where they show you how huge lottery winners turn out years later? Its great. I love when they buy tacky expensive shit. Like this one guy had this tacky mansion with this 100,000 dolphine statue in the back yard and lots of other stuff like that.
they don't do the tacky check thing anymore. when was the last time you saw that on tv? It's very easy for lotto winners to fly under the radar unless they won over 200 mil. The family I'm talking about won about 55 mil and while they did say on the news some one from this town had the winning numbers but never went any further.
